A mistake that cost far too much... I lost my former Clan when the Free Marches got hit by the blight... I couldn't save them... I'm not sure I can ever forgive her for that.

Arlen's relationship with Solas is something. Solas often found Arlen to be obnoxious and immature and Arlen thought Solas was just some elvish snob, a little too fixated on the past and the fade. Despite this, Arlen had a lot of respect for Solas (even if he didn't really show it much).
