A faultless Sunday morning in Scotland ?
To some extent we did. Originally we were planning to fund 40 CDTs, but by repriorisation in EPSRC/ forward commitments we increased to over 60. Was that enough? No but there is only so much can do with flat cash in inflation times. But at least that is an extra 1500 students that will be supported
Dear Kirsty - I hope while I was the Interim Head of EPSRC we strengthened the morale of ERSRC staff (for others to say) - key to that was showing how UKRI could achieve things we could not do alone - e.g. increasing the number of CDTs. Sadly there are wider issues in the sector we need to address.
Thatβs true - lol - I would have to have gone higher!
Out for a Sunday morning bike ride. For a big city, Glasgowβs access to the great outdoors is second to none in the UK?
