I have made a small slot machine.

Playing around with the Seeed XIAO RA4M1 (which is actually the same as an Arduino R4) to get it working with an SPI display and some other external devices for my next project.

I still have a couple of those Yamaha OPL/FM chips and on my project list to do something with it...

I am feeling a bit lazy to sit behind a desktop computer on my attic and edit a video. So instead I am laying down on my couch and connecting to it from a 10+ years old MacBook using Royal TSX (shareware) app, which can also handle Remote Desktop connections to Windows machines.

One thing is for sure. I will never change another ear pad on any headphones anymore! 😱

I'm a bit disappointed with the transfer speeds of this configuration. According to all specs it should be around 5000MB/s, but it is much less. If you compare the speeds of the internal Mac Mini M4 storage in the last picture they are way faster than the Thunderbolt 4.

Do you have any neodymium magnets and what do you use them for? I use them mostly for 3D printed projects.

The hotplate I ordered during the Black Friday deal has finally arrived! 🎉 I've never soldered on one before, so it's extra exciting to give it a try.

I aways thought that this would be more complicated, like running your own instance of Bluesky server or something like that. But I guess it is much easier. So... I changed it as well. 🙂
