Ben Langey is leading research at the Great Marsh Institute to find out how road salt inputs from a major highway that cuts through the marsh affects the plants that live there. This short film shows some of Ben's work making him "The Guardian of the Wetland".

There are thousands of species of cockroach in the world and only a few dozen species are known to associate with humans. The rest quietly go about their day keeping the forest clean. Some are quite lovely.

Eastern box turtles are usually found near ponds, fields, meadows, &woodlands throughout the eastern half of the US. Eastern box turtles are one of the most commonly seen in the wild. The reptileβs carapace is dome-shaped and covers most of its body, and has ridges and furrows that develop with age.
