One of my favorite hobbies is to see what’s happening with the penguins at the Aquarium of New Zealand…. the tea, the drama.
It’s funny because it’s true.
A shiny, bright red insect with an orange head and antennae. It is standing on a leaf.
There are thousands of species of cockroach in the world and only a few dozen species are known to associate with humans. The rest quietly go about their day keeping the forest clean. Some are quite lovely.

Eastern box turtles are usually found near ponds, fields, meadows, &woodlands throughout the eastern half of the US. Eastern box turtles are one of the most commonly seen in the wild. The reptile’s carapace is dome-shaped and covers most of its body, and has ridges and furrows that develop with age.
