A rooster stands in the roadside grass, its leg secured by a makeshift leash fashioned from yellow cloth.
I saw a rooster on a makeshift leash this morning. It was an odd sight for the middle of a metropolis.

I keep thinking back to the warning: "If you look away from Gaza, this will happen everywhere else, too." And how right they were. From genocide and ecocide to democide and state-sponsored assassinations; it all keeps happening, exactly as predicted.
New website, new me. Clearly, Iβve had a bit too much free time lately. Along with a brand-new design, Iβve refreshed most of the copy. Each project now features four highlight images on the front page and a full twelve-image gallery. It works beautifully both on mobile and desktop.

I've got a new camera (Fujifilm #XT30III w/ 23mm f/2.8 + Godox iT30Pro). After spending my first month with this kit, I'm confident it will last me a while; unless I get that unnecessary urge to try something new. These three photographs are my personal favourites from February 2026.

I'm mourning that the dumbfuck theory of shadowy figures ruling the world is actually quite real. This isn't a dramatic worldview collapse; it's just insulting that the reality is so mundanely simple.
Thank you so much, Andrew!
My second photobook, Unutursan DarΔ±lmam (No Offence If You Forget), is live as a web book. While physical publishing didn't pan out this year, Iβm thrilled to finally put this years-long project out into the world.

I took the original picture (left) in 2021 with my trusty Fujifilm X70. The scene still exists, more or less. When I came across it the other day, I couldn't help taking another picture with the Fujifilm X-half.
