5 years ago, I excitedly logged on to work remotely and experience the perks of WFH, thinking we'd be back in the office in 2 weeks.
a pack of kangaroo jerky
Well, I dOn'T don't like it? It's ok. I just suddenly feel like slipping an extra shrimp on the barbie and throwing a boomerang at the sky. G'day!
Had a fun drawing sesh with my niece this afternoon. Behold my masterpiece:
Carteciano (2025). Kuromi [pixels on Procreate].
Wishing that you all get hugs from your loved ones as cozy and warm as the curry ramen I had during lunch with family on this rainy Christmas day.
tough call
Other than Spider-Man 2, I mostly just played Astro Bot on my PS5. I need to use it more.
I enjoyed That Christmas very much. Set my expectations really low because I was utterly disappointed with Spellbound, another recent Netflix joint. In fact, I almost didn't watch this. I just wanted to watch something with my nieces that isn't Frozen or Bluey.
As expected, I 100% sucked in my first Marvel Rivals match. This is absolutely not my kind of game, but you can run around as Jeff the Land Shark, so I had to at least try it out.
Internet sleuths go!!!
Speaking of Dazzler being a woman, I only found out recently that there was another Dazzler in the 616, but he was a man. Burtram Worthington, Angel's evil diamond smuggler uncle.
This is a fantastic read. Also, thanks for reminding me that Pownce existed. Brought back a lot of fond, dangerous memories. www.sandofsky.com/end-of-twitt...
GODBOWL
most cutting thing you can say is "who's this clown?" because it implies they're a) a clown & b) not even one of the better-known clowns
'Arcane' might just be one of my favorite animated shows of all time. Even though I don't fully understand what is up with Jayce and Viktor and their wild acid trips.
Duke headbutting Destro
Just read the 'Duke' mini by @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social and Tom Reilly. I wish I read it sooner. It's glorious! Can't wait to read the rest of the G.I. Joe minis and the new monthly.
Also, yes. I'm still unemployed.
I made local backups first, of course. Saved the mbox files in my NAS for cold storage, but also imported into Thunderbird for easy searching.
Email daily drivers are now Proton, SimpleLogin, and a paid email hosting provider.
Google Photos, you're next.
I probably won't be able to fully degoogle my life, but I took a big step towards it today by emptying my main Gmail account, which I created way back in 2006.
That's 19 years worth of emails and attachments wiped from Google servers. It sparks joy.
The HBO GO app on my TV always gave me trouble by regularly being slow/unresponsive. Glad that it has finally been replaced by Max. Looks like it performs way better.
But I'm not glad that my meticulously curated list of movies and shows in My Stuff did not carry over. womp womp
Cartoon villains around a long table, from "Super Friends" TV cartoon
If Trump's first administration was stocked with Bond Villains, it seems like the second one is going with more of a Legion of Doom vibe.
A brief thread...

Finally shared an "Open To Work" post on LinkedIn. While I've been enjoying my last 4 months of FUNemployment, I feel it's time to get back to the grind.
If I just followed you today, and you're wondering who I am, don't freak out. I'm @baddie from The Site Formerly Known As Twitter. I follow you there, but I don't want to go there anymore, even for your lovely posts. So here we are.
Relatively good, considering everything. Hope you are too! It's so nice here, no? Haha
Welcome to where the skies are blue!

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #5,076,612! But actually #701,371 because I just had to switch to my own domain. Congratulations, Bluesky!
Just watching Bluey with two of my nieces. It's a good Sunday morning.
Nothing to see here. Just testing crossposting to Bluesky and Mastodon through Openvibe.
