I haven't seen the actual wording on this one and can't look it up b/c it's not ID'd, but wording on this type of question is usually pretty standard, as are the answer choices. Surveys from a variety of polling companies have similar results. I think people are just clueless about what's going on.

I meant either a whistleblower from within the US command or a revelation from another country's intelligence agency, such as when China recently released satellite images disproving the US claims of minimal damage to facilities by Shahed strikes.
If confirmed, the US deployment of a third carrier group to the Middle East suggests the war with Iran will likely last much longer than Trump expected.

This is a plausible hypothesis. There are indications that support it, but no evidence yet. I don't know how we get that evidence. Unless a whistleblower comes forward, it seems like it would have to come from another country's surveillance, but all the other countries seem afraid to cross the US.
