It really is - it was a massive boat!
You can get Irish citizenship if a parent or grandparent was born on the island of Ireland.
Looking forward to this! Imagining itβs going to be like this film that I had to Google as I couldnβt remember the spelling! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koyaani...
Definitely - am here until end of October at least. Iβm sure Orlagh would be happy to show you Derry / Donegal too!
This is just breathtaking! Thank you for sharing. π»
Yes - Jessie has all the emotion for sure, but Sinead somehow has the edge. I love this song. So raw!
Jβadore cet endroit! π
Iβd kill a dragon for YOUUU!!!
Oh itβs brilliant - and we all forget that in addition to being an outstanding actor, JB can also sing, she was one of the Mariaβs on that Andrew Lloyd Webber contest to find a Maria, hosted by our own Graham Norton!
Likewise! You need to see more of NI than just Belfast - Andrea can attest to the sights of Armagh - a city very rich in culture. And the ecclesiastical capital of all Ireland!
Oh yes! Iβve been listening to it non stop since hearing Jessie Buckley covering Troy - Sinead was such a legend and so ahead of her time. RIP.
I love the original of this song! In fact I love the entire album. But have recently rediscovered Sinead OβConnorβs previous album, The Lion and The Cobraβ¦ it is breathtakingly brilliant.
McQ - you are a most beautiful Cattie. π»π»π»
Oooooh - Inverleith Terrace was where I lived when I first moved there! Loved the Botanic Gardens! You did have quite a long walk home - I remember walking all the time from my flat in Inverleith up to Bruntsfield so would have βsort ofβ passed your place! I miss Edinburgh!
Partial view of the slipway where HMS Titanic was launched. In the background you can see one of the Harland and Wolff gantries, where the ship was built.
The slipway where HMS Titanic was launched.
Itβs really quite moving to think that this is where it all happened! The yellow gantry in the background of pic 1 is either Samson or Goliath (I always get them confused) where HMS Titanic was built. Enjoy! π€
Apparently Titanic Belfast came about as a result of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement, which heralded peace in NI after many years of conflict. A major initiative was to boost tourism in NI - a beautiful place with a rich cultural history. It also symbolised taking back Titanicβs history to Belfast.
Beautiful! Where is this?
Clearly! Kiki = Champion πΉ
Little legends. We need a video clip of this! Have a great day, Joe, Jake and Eddie! π»π»π»
