Since 10 hours I am trying to upload a 15MB .zip file to a #Github release. Worked without issues ever since, just for todays' release I am getting "Something went really wrong" all the time. Anyone having the same issues? How can I find out what's actually wrong?

For 4 months, my blog is de-indexed on #Google. A single noindex has led to a complete purge of the site. I try to get my blog back up, but everything I get is a "Started" status for the requested reindexing in the Seach Console. π£
Does somebody know more and could help me with that?
Did you, by any chance, buy one without a cable? Looking for one right now and need a recommendation. π
Feeling it. If you want to keep up properly, it's a full time job. π«©
There's this color memory game: view a color, then try to replicate it with three sliders. I got a score of 42.4.
How good are you? dialed.gg?c=ZFYRWJ π

I managed to snag the recently expired random-websites.com domain as a redirect to Cloudhiker. π€©
I had to work with Safari for compatibility reasons, and forgot to switch back to Brave. I just opened Cyberchef and some other tools... and what the hell happened to the web?!?!! Ads like EVERYWHERE, taking half of the screen, advert popups after EVERY damn action.
What a horrible experience.... π¨
It was kind of a coincidence that I started watching #shrinking, right after the last episode of #Pluribus. And... Oh my god this is such an incredibly funny, moving and emotional series! Just finished S2E8 and it left me deeply shaken and in tears. Shrinking is a masterpiece.
I am frustrated about the #iOS keyboard. Therefore, I am searching for a replacement that 1) works properly without major bugs, 2) adheres to privacy standards (because no way I am sending all keystrokes to Microslop) and 3) does not cost a fortune.
Anyone have a #recommendation?
I have to admit it's kinda weird that one of my most beloved dev tools, CyberChef, is developed by the UK intelligence agency. π«

My friend Amadeus moved to Thailand and is building up a business. It's taking a bit longer, and now he runs out of funds. You can support him, especially if you are a #musician and into #musicmaking. πΈ
E.g. by buying his #electronic music album! π

I recently put together a new #productivity system which helps me prioritize the #tasks for my personal projects: risk, effort, reward. Today, I wrote a blog article outlining how it works. Maybe it helps someone else too? π

One of my favourite shots from #Tokyo. The #shadows, the #architecture, the security man walking around. π€©

9 years ago I uploaded my first photo to #Unsplash, back when the site was rather small. This month, my account crossed 40 million views and 280,000 downloads! π³π€©
Many photos were even featured on the front page, or in specific categories, which is another boost that makes me continue.

No, I opened a ticket related to a paid account, but it's not getting any response.
I have no idea. Users come with no referrer.
Congrats! Welcome to the Marriage Circle. π

Tokyo is even crazier at night, when like a million light go on and you drown in a flood of billboards an neon signs. π

screenshot of the CPU usage of a server showing a steep decline from about 30% to under 10%
I switched from Promtail to OTel Collector for application logs and reduced the average CPU usage by 20% (4vCPU VPS). Disk I/O was also reduced from 2.5MB writes to 200kB. π₯³

Cloudhiker is under attack, and I'm on the go. Trying my best to keep the server from a total crash. LOL π
screenshot showing a warning about a DDoS attack which happened to Cloudhiker today
Cloudhiker survived its first small DDoS attack today. Not a big one, but the site would definitely been offline if it wasn't mitigated by Cloudflare. I was first shocked to see 300k+ requests in the stats, but nothing else. Total volume was about 6 million hits. Well, let's go on.
