I taught “slow”, “stop”, “dance”, and other signs. I think they were having fun and in fact, a few didn’t want to go home yet when their parents came to pick them up.
I had fun teaching ASL to hearing elementary kids. I was too rigid before, but now I realize that after-school kids want to have fun, so I introduced a little more slapstick comedy into the lesson.
