If they ever put up a bill called the "Serve The People Act", run for the state line.
I've seen The Twilight Zone.

Any of the Republicans on the committee could also have seconded the bill.
With that said, yes I'm disappointed at what happened.
That kind of money is worth like two days of bombing Iran.
Bingo.
The decision to select SpaceX for the HLS was probably the single stupidest decision I have seen NASA make in my lifetime.
Part of it was, I think, timing. This was around the time SpaceX finally delivered Crew Dragon, so they seemed competent.
But boy oh boy were there signs about Elon.
How is Kathy Lueders doing over at SpaceX, btw?
Sickening racism from a sitting senator. The Ogles hate is contagious.
Youβre either calling this out or normalizing it. Thereβs no third option.
Why the new Ayatollah should go on Joe Rogan.
I'm so proud of you.
The idea that America isnβt for everyone who wants to be an American is something that makes my blood boil. Posting a photo of yourself as a Congressman smiling next to these words is wicked. Itβs antithetical to the concept of America.
We have normalized the exception to the point where the rule has been swallowed whole. And this of course has happened at the worst possible time, under the worst possible leadership.
I'm not sure that she's wholly ignorant; up-is-downism is a consequence of decades of infidelity to the Constitution that started long before Trump (we haven't had a constitutionally declared war since WW2).
But under Trump this has metastasized from "we can work around it" to "it doesn't exist."
Latest note from the Dunning-Kruger Law Review just dropped
My favorite claims from the law perfessors is when someone insists that foreigners don't have rights and that Article IiI judges can't review decisions by immigration judges.
Where are they getting this absolute nonsense from?
Reading the comments on any local media Facebook post about ICE or immigration has convinced me that a disturbingly large number of people believe that law exists solely to brutalize people whom they have never met.
(And most of the commenters are "graduates" of the Dunning-Kruger School of Law).
Law school profs can be jerks, but generally speaking if they flunk people for no good reason they won't stay employed very long.
I'm a lifelong civilian. I could see a hardass commander making an example of the PFC, having a little fun with it, and half-seriously saying "if you misrepresent your work again, I will give you an article 15."
I had law school profs who might do *that*.
But daaang, your story is crazy.
In reading @perrybaconjr.bsky.social's post about moderate Democrats, I am tempted to think that the difference between moderates and progressives isn't so much about policy as it is about temperament/anxiety about going too far.
An authentic, confident liberal candidate will reassure moderates.
Don't engage, just report.
How is Lindsay Graham taking this?
Oh yeah, don't go looking at the comments of Nashville local media on Facebook (especially our Fox/Sinclair station). There are plenty of "we luv you Andy keep fighting the mooslims" quality posters there.
Yeah, I wish our Democratic leaders would stop posting on X. Oh well.
Hakeem Jeffries just did on X.

It's the Democratic Party, son.
The only music we have ever heard is Bruce Springsteen, Beyonce, and Fleetwood Mac.
The part about this scam "copyright infringement" e-mail that bothers me the most is the implication that I like Lewis Capaldi enough to steal his music.
Moving to electric is still important for the economy in the long haul. Even if the internal combustion bros seem to be winning at the moment.
Ruger? But I'm married!
They need *an* election to happen, otherwise there won't be a Congress to pass spending bills.
I think the real question is whether it will be a fair election.
I kinda thought of Martin as a compromise between the Wikler folks and the more insidery insiders.
Yup
