btw, this lamp post by the Pinocchio statue was the first to go. So it has been like this longer than the rest.

I recently documented the change in verbiage from "Waste Please" to "Trash."

Even Tinker Bell needs the trash taken out near her Busy Buggies at Tokyo DisneySeaโs Fantasy Springs. Cast members are happy to oblige, pixie dust not included. #TrashCanTuesday

new disneyland trash can dropped? @magicaltrash.com (I do not know what "scoops" they are for)
Whoa? That's wild!
Iโm not a number.
Two white outdoor trash receptacles stand against a brick wall with a concrete base. Each bin is labeled โCentral Florida Tourism Oversight District.โ The left bin has a round opening; the right has a rectangular flap-style opening. A bright yellow folding caution sign sits between them, printed with โCaution / Cuidado / Safety First / La Seguridad Manda.โ The scene appears to be in a public walkway or service area.
We live in a stupid timeline.
An orange Animal Kingdom trash can with a rounded top, shown in sunlight along a pathway. The front features a yellow Mickeyโshaped silhouette set against a stylized tree and sun design.
On National Retro Day, a look back at Camp MinnieโMickey. A temporary land that served as an ugly reminder that Beastly Kingdom never happened.
Orange trash cans weren't the mythical creatures we were promised.

Two blue Toontown bins labeled Trash and Mixed Recycling, featuring a threeโitem trash icon and a Mickeyโhead recycling symbol.
Disneyland Toontown cans balance cartoon style with utility. Playful fonts, clear icons, Mickeyโhead recycling, & smart inlets show silly places can still take trash seriously.
Unless youโre WDWโs Magic Kingdom.

Two pink Minnie Mouseโthemed trash cans at Tokyo Disneyland, decorated with light pink polka dots, blue trim, and a red bow graphic on the front, positioned side by side on a brick walkway near green hedges.
Polka dots, pink panels, and a perfectly placed bow: Tokyo Disneyland's 2024 Pal-Palooza trash cans are fully dressed for the occasion. Spotted near the hub, still turning heads in 2026.

But did it get you into the zone?
So that goal of this message was to induce agony? ๐
Yup, that's my first phone!
Probably not. Though that's a good question. Never thought about it.
The cans at the NBA Experience were quite short lived, existing for less than a year: www.magicaltrash.com/post/6601689...
Ha ha. I think the same thing every time I do that. I keep it in because I always want to reemphasize that I'm not just lifting photos. There's a permissions process.
Plus, when I sell the site for millions, I'd like the new owners to know they have permission to use my photo ๐

ESPN Zone Chicago (1998โ2010). These 2008 trash cans show minimal effort: unpainted metal units with logo stickers slapped on. Functional, corporate, & lateโ2000s energy.

Once sunset hits, the tape glows and tilts the sidewalk.
Refs are trash cans, so kinda stupid and can't count past 2. Matches last forever.
By morning, everythingโs reset. Except the cans are slightly closer to the castle. Coincidence? Wake up.
Rules: Cans may only move when no one is looking. Points for smooth micro-scoots, bonus for absorbing airborne napkins mid-glide.
The blue can on the right? Thatโs โSir Rattles.โ Undefeated since the Great Funnel Cake Incident.
The lines denote the official court for the Toontown Trash Can Roller Derby. The humans cleared out because the cans declared a Level 4 Lid-Off. Once the tape goes down, civilians are legally considered โloose debris.โ It's not often we see this league play in the open.
Well, lucky that is solved in Wonder Man
