As of tonight, licenses of trans people across Kansas are being invalidated en masse, enabling the overnight criminalization of an entire group of people for going about our lives. It’s often said you never know when you’re living through history, so let me assure you: that’s what’s happening now.
Imagine that overnight your ability to drive was taken away, and it would take who knows how long to get it back. How much would that fuck with your ability to do basic things like earn money, not get fired from your job, feed yourself, get medical care, see family.
They can’t even legally drive to the DMV to get the license that will misgender them by law because the statute invalidating their licenses went into immediate effect.
Has anyone dealt with dog depression? We got Bonnie at 3 months old & she has only ever known life with Bella. Now Bella is gone, Bonnie is not eating properly, often refusing to drink, and to go to the toilet. She rarely leaves my side. The Vet thinks it is depression and has no real answers.
Because of the National driver register, since their licenses are suspended, trans folks cannot move to another state and get a new license until they remove the suspension on their existing Kansas license.
They can't even escape this by moving to another state.

Absolutely. Everything about him is a carefully crafted performance. Being perceived as a bumbling coward gives him cover to do the reckless and selfish stuff he wants to do. Look at the way he invokes his mother, or the fact he co-started parliamentary friends of Palestine. Everything is an act.
