I’m persuaded by Gammell’s analysis of GCC pressure to “finish it” despite not knowing what that means, bc they fear a wounded but still potent Iran. There’s no clear off-ramp, and Iran gets a vote about whether Hormuz opens.

Trump Family Inc. is so deeply exposed to GCC interests I can’t see that not winning the day.

So, the prevailing view in markets seems to be 1) Trump won't allow this to go on, and Iran will get on board with that 2) SPRs will take care of any shortfalls or gaps

Interesting. Not mentioned in the story are the privacy and rights concerns that age-gating would require. Presumably anyone who wants to be on social media would have to provide verification, which would be another opportunity for the govt to hand even more public data to Oracle or Palantir.
