One of Justine’s most favourite unexpected highlights of running Chicken is that a lot of clients send us photos of chickens. We wholly encourage this! It’s much more fun than the spam messages for stocking our chicken meat in Walmart!

Eliminating PDFs in Local Government Last year we made the HTML publications module for LocalGov Drupal, this year we want to make it easier to import the thousands of PDFs councils currently have.

Yesterday we had a lovely chat with a council about our PDF content importer. Gave them a demo of where we currently are and had excited chats about where it could go. We really believe making tools like this will help free up resources to make better content. snip.ly/51qjbl

We fully agree with this. We’ve had to back out of so many because we can’t afford to drop everything and spend days writing something as a company of two, shelling out for consultants to write these is also difficult. But we can do the work, we’re cheaper and we probably care more.
