A cabinet of oak and walnut, with ebony panels and columns, inlaid with rosewood and ivory engraved. Originally in Lochleven Castles, and long known as "Queen Mary's Aumerie," probably made by French ... One of hundreds of thousands of free digital items from The New York Public Library.

I wasn't sure, so checked OED, closest word for Aumerie is Ambry which would make sense. The 'Aumerie' in Queen Mary's cabinet title probably comes from same root as 'ambry' "a small recess or cupboard in the wall of a church." 📚 #OED #etymology + link to NYPL buff.ly/4fjQrFD
