I wasn't sure, so checked OED, closest word for Aumerie is Ambry which would make sense. The 'Aumerie' in Queen Mary's cabinet title probably comes from same root as 'ambry' "a small recess or cupboard in the wall of a church." π #OED #etymology + link to NYPL buff.ly/4fjQrFD
