Same here… My first commercially used bit of software was written for an A-Level project back in 1993. I always feel like I’m behind, but my ability to spot patterns and join different parts of the company is what makes me useful. Apparently. However, even writing this makes me queasy…

After time spent either ill or in buirn out, I managed to do something this weekend 🤩 My first short using my studio and new editing kit. Super happy with the results, and super happy with the boost it gave to my enerygy 🥳

The low profile is great for ergonomics, but I was hitting all the wrong keys in the original keycaps… Plus this replaced my cute Panda keyboard (gifted to my son) so it had to be as cute 😊
The sanding was a pain though! But I like the result 🤩

Does it count as a hack, if bought full size keycaps for my low profile keyboard (because I like the look and typing experience) but then sanded down the keys that caused a problem? After all, MOA kecaps are not supposed to go on low profile keyboards...
Also, I’m loving Procreate and wish I’d got it earlier, it’s the first app I paid for to draw with, and the first that makes me think I’m actually drawing, right from the get to. After watching some tutorials it’s even better!
I feel I’ve maybe made a mistake with the iPad I got this summer. I’ve always wondered what made a 13” iPad make sense. Obviously they work for enough people, but not me. Well… Yesterday, I installed @procreate.com and I get it now 😅 I imagine that extra screen makes a huge difference!

There is a window with a night scene outside of a hill, tree and stary sky. On the floor there is a dark brown rug, with a light brown border.It is an incomplete alcohol/acrylic/gel picture.
The same picture, but the floor around the rug has been coloured in as a light wood, with darker brown grain.
The table cloth on the side table now has felt like texture, and there are folds in the loose end of the table cloth. The puce wall also has a herring bone pattern, and gold stripes
The chair now has a cloth like structure, the ghost is semi transparent and you can see the structure of the chair through it.
I’m on the sick at the moment with a flare up of my ME, to try and keep me occupied I’ve been doing another picture (when I have the mental/physical energy at least). I’m loving seeing my improvements over time 🤩

This has me thinking… When I was 16 I got a pair of Panasonic in ear (but not earbud), bass boost earphones that cost £90. That was the most expensive they had a time time. Even with inflation they were only €90… What can you today for that price with decent quality? 😵💫😅😂
😅 I’ve not used headphones of that price since that was a a price for good headphones (so… earlier than 1990 I think…)

One review I say taglined it "Sony has made a mistake with these headphones". I'd agree, aside from the lightweight build, I'm struggling to see the difference between the expensive 1000 line up... I'm super happy...
Music over bluetooth is pretty much the same story, except they have to be on of course. They sounds really nice for the price. Bass is clear, vocals are clear, treble is clear. I'm happy with the purchase! Unti I hit the ULT (bass) button, which ruins the sound. Loud, bass heavy. Not for me 🤣
Music over the cable connection changes things a little. Then they sound much better turned on with NC than without. Rock, classical and metal all sound very good for the money.
Voice over the cable connection are crystal clear. Though when you turn on the NC it does change and not for the better. As I only need the NC when there is noise outside, I can live with it (as long as it doesn't introduce a delay for my mic monitoring - to test on Monday).
They arrived this morning. This is my 20 mins use review.
The case is as good you expect if you have used 1000 MK 2, 3, or 4 in the past. Hard, heaphones fold, space for cables.
ND? I haven't used it in a noisey env. yet, but good enough. Typing and taps on the table do not come through.

Due to reasons, I need cheap(ish), wired, white, NC headphones for my studio. The cheapest I found where Sony ULT Wear. I got a 2nd chance from #Coolblue. Then looked at reviews (wrong way round). The reviews looked good & I breathed a sigh of relief.

Today was a little better. I managed this from start to finish. Practice with acrylic pens using gel pens for details. Next time I’m going to try alcohol, acrylic, and gel pens all together. When I’ve recovered more, doing this has hit my fatigue again…
Well, I managed the swatch sheets. Just. Seems that even coloring was too much for my body… After I got these finished I couldn’t do any actual colouring, and instead slept for 3 hours… Maybe today, we’ll see…

#Swetugg the aftermath! After an amazing few days that triggered my fatigue more than I was expecting, yesterday was super tough, and today and tomorrow are going to be bed days. So time to try my new pens and see if this helps…

So I’m not surprised that you do other things ☺️ Some ppeople who would, but I don’t believe that’s the majority. Life is more interesting when you do something with it.
