Established in 2022. Current edition: 2025, Volume 73.
π¬ The prize awards an outstanding paper from the year published in Current Sociology, which was of note in terms of originality, innovation, significance and influence in the field.
ποΈ As we were closing the annual meeting of the Executive Committee of the ISA, we received the sad news of the passing of our former President, T. K. Oommen. He had served as Secretary-General of the 1986 World Congress of Sociology in New Delhi and was elected President of the ISA in 1990.
