You’re going to really like it once you adjust to the layout! I came over from a moonlander and the biggest changes I needed to make were to the thumb cluster

I was thinking of that article yesterday!
Definitely that one
Meant to reply to the first message in the read, that was redundant 😅
Which is hilarious because military strategy is all about about understanding and exploiting your enemy’s mindset! See also the OODA loop
Mishima was the first person who came to mind, but also it seems he was always right wing so not sure if it counts. Also truly weird
They do seem to get worse every year, but this is a new low
Oh damn, a new Claire North book came out and I missed it! Interested to see what she does with that kind of high concept sci-fi
There’s a lot of people who have never had to think about that sort of thing and it shows
I’d be interested in hearing how that goes down the line. It’s not something that I’m dealing with directly right now, but I haven’t seen where LLMs have been able to make up for not having a framework of understanding how things fit together. Especially in on the infra side!
The problem with that is once you move outside of that context, or want to push the boundaries of it, if you the programmer can’t or won’t understand the layers then it makes it difficult to actually innovate
One thing I’m grappling with i how you train people now to instill that metis as you describe it.
A bunch learning the craft of software engineering is building up the layers of abstraction in your head and knowing how to move up and down those layers. LLMs have that context to some extent
That whole scene really
Agreed. There are some really interesting ideas and ramifications of how the magic system works. Made the mistake of listening to the audio book which was A Lot, since there wasn’t a good way to skip past all of parts that don’t work
The whole thing or just Tate’s performance?
Wow, you’re not kidding. It’s actually a pretty reasonable set of arguments
A 4.6 magnitude earthquake occurred 3 km ESE of Berkeley, California!

This is an automatic report and may be revised.
Sounds like some real NIMBY nonsense
Starfish is so good you have two copies 😂
In all seriousness, I've been pointing people at it more and more lately. I can definitely see some of the other books here in YWDitE
The benefits of being a much more mature open source foundation! Agreed that accepting a project with trademark issues was a huge mistake in hindsight, particularly with not following up on owning it.
My experience working with Syandia and nats felt like they were already operating under the BSL
Out of curiosity why do you think the ASF would be better in this case?
I wonder if that’s why the steam reviews seem very mixed on the game
I still have a visceral reaction whenever I see one on the road
Big difference is that they have lived under a military dictatorship (same with Brazil)
V8 server side is actually petty fast these days from my understanding. Running wasm-opt on your compiled module should get a bit more performance out of it but I’d have to look at your code more to see if there’s anything poorly optimized for wasm.
It would be catastrophic for US soft power. Turns out that educating everyone’s kids gives you a lot of cachet
This has been a long time coming! Very excited to see the progress we’ve made since the project started
It really was! Amazingly enough it still runs, so Zoom must inadvertently be staffing a small team keeping it all going.
A dedicated app for viewing social verifications on a handle might be better than a labeler since you wouldn’t have to opt in — just have a link on your profile
Are you thinking something along the lines of Keybase, only using oauth for verification? I could see that being really interesting, especially if you use that to feed a labeler
I thought that was the consensus here
