So if the one Mora County Commissioner candidate gets 5%, Libertarians remain a major party.
Yeah, looking through the requirements (5% at the last presidential or gubernatorial election) I don't think they'd qualify, but... they still are?
In fact, the only Libertarian to file to run in ANY partisan race in New Mexico this year is Francisco Chavez, running for Mora County Commissioner in District 1.

Libertarians are a major party in NM; no Libertarian filed to run in any state House district.
Yesterday was filing day for the NM state house.
Surprisingly, no Democrat filed to run in HD 38, held by Republican Rebecca Dow. She won by 4% (>400 votes) in 2024.
Every other race that was within 10% has a Dem and GOP member running (8 Dem-held seats, 4 GOP-held seats).
