The #vtt of course supports animated maps, and allows you to set your own zones quickly and easily, along with easily setting zone details. Movement tracking supports adding zones in real time.
Many months of work to get to this point, and it's finally coming together. Lots of data input now, which really just takes a long time. And still stuff to clean up. Need to work on Armor mods next.
WIP shot for the Earthwild (unofficial #Destiny) TTRPG VTT. This shows off quite a bit: Picking up loot, movement, zones (Voronoi), character sheets, shooting, the dice panel, results panel, inventory, etc.
A globe from the 30N overseeing Hawaii where you clearly see nodes marking oceans and land and the debug ocean nodes clearly expect Africa and Europe and the Arabian pennisula but instead it's just the Pacific Ocean.
So... that explains ocean travel wasn't working.
Debugging tools ftw. #devlife
"It just works." Apple should hire a designer.
Kobold Press Tales of the Valiant RPG books, all collectorβs editions.

Tales of the Valiant Players Guide 2 404/1000. I found it! #rpg #tov #koboldpress #blackflag
I ended up fixing it.
Just showing a wider version that still works the same way. Again, updated live.
Next? Manually creating zones so you can add your own maps to it.
There is an abnormal line you see at the end there... I want to fix that, but it's rare, and I think for now, the mapping is good enough for what i want.
Zone-based mapping with Voronoi zones. I don't know how useful this is, but this is fun! It also makes incredibly interesting maps! And just fun to use! The number of zones, their types, and all other settings are easy to configure and update, and the updates are live!

VTT made for the Destiny-inspired #Earthwild TTRPG. The author behind the vtt doesn't use social media so he won't see this. But I wanted to share it. This shows the basic map and movement stuff. Along with the tempo and dice system implementation. This is from the GMs pov. #vtt #ttrpg #destiny
Centroidal Voronoi tessellation.
That's the spice tonight.
My Candela Obscura character is a detective who looks like Eddie Valiant from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? This makes finding character "art" really easy because I can just use Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) pictures. I love it so much.
I'm expanding the dungeon design. All the floor tiles now have a subtle stone effect. Here are my crates in a storage room.
One thing I do want to resolve is DM vs Player maps. I want to make them easy to design and easy to display and render for print.

For anyone who needs to hear this: releasing something into alpha and gathering bug reports and user suggestions is a powerful motivator. It's encouraging that someone cares enough to take the time to ask you to fix something. I love it.
It's that injection of inspiration you need.
Still plugging away with #dungeon26. Working on improving the graphics and going back to edit previous entries. Lots of little improvements. The end goal is to have a book that I can put out of a mega dungeon. Either the full thing, or floor by floor. Not sure yet. #osr #dnd #ttrpg
Programming is all just moving text left and right fast enough.
January is complete. At least the map is. I need to fill in some descriptions for some rooms, but as far as I'm concerned, January was a success! I have more plans and improvements to the website, and the map editor is on the way!
On to Level 2! February!

A screenshot of a pixel-based image editor. It shows a 50x50 point editor that has a bezier curve tool being demonstrated with a single black-lined curve on a white background grid.
I ended up building a Bezier curve tool for my dungeon-tile editor cuz... I wanted curves. So yeah...
about dungeon creation or your own thoughts, let me know. It doesn't have to be about this dungeon in particular.
P.S. So many typos, and so many things I tried that I want to go back and improve. I will probably take some time to go back and fix things. I want this to be good if not great.
a Fury Road-esque style floor I think. What does that mean? I don't know. But where as the first floor is traditional dungeon crawl, the second floor needs to be the opposite. I want speed, I want aggression, I want momentum, and moving forward I think.
Anyways, if you have thoughts or ideas in
the old worship and training halls. There are multiple ways to navigate these halls. Where do they go? One goes to the 4th floor. The others go down one. Where exactly? I don't know. That's what comes next month. So, what about next month?
February is going to be an interesting level. I want
ending up being more than just random rooms. Rather, it turned into there separate areas. The first area was the cult area. Cult members lived, worshipped and trained there. The second area was the secrets area, where the cult of the 13th was first born. And finally the area which we do not tread,
I'm still getting days done in #dungeon26 here is a room form a couple days ago. I'm getting ready thinking about the next months dungeon, and the themes I want to explore there. January was simple. It was merely to get me moving and to complete January. That's all. Along the way, the first floor
A longer post on my initial thoughts on #dungeon26 and designing a room a day. Further, I show off one of the tools I've built to help create these dungeons.
Rooms are getting weird now. Okay, not too weird, but I really want purpose with rooms and dungeons. Sometimes the room exists quietly, other times, it's a water-filled trash heap. #dungeon26 #dnd #osr #ttrpg

the start of the 3rd overall zone of this floor, the first one being the active cult, and the second one being the area people rarely if ever visit. This new part is the one we don't talk about and the doors stay closed.
to do things going forward. And then there is the art. I want something isn't just a room map, but something that could be considered art. Which means more effort needs to be put into tile generation, and coming up with a nice style I'm happy with. I'm still having fun with this. This room is...
could also say that it makes more work for GMs as now they have to manage the stuff I put in and makes it harder for them to be creative. Especially since part of this dungeon is intended to have meaning. So, it means some rooms are more detailed than others. Mostly because I'm testing how I want
