Slamming the door behind her and locking it, his breath came in heaving sounds, still frantic from everything that had happened. He began to pace, running tattoo’d fingers through his hair as he tried to focus.

“Routine liposuction. Breast implants. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, -

Sucking up his pride, he called her personal number this time, hoping she would pick up if she didn’t think it was a work call.
