All that money they wasted on that war in Iraq could have funded our schools and social programs waaaaay better as well. But instead, they cut funding for schools (and other things).

But what do I know? I was 8 when they started No Child Left Behind, and 9 when the war started.

I’m gonna say it: a lot of folks should have been left behind to get the proper academic and developmental support they needed. They advanced these kids when they were not ready, because too many kids getting left back “looked bad.” And years later, who do those children turn into?
