Imo it's super fun and informative but it just touches on everything a little bit-- definitely not enough to get a job in as a new career move but good enough for general domain knowledge!!!

To be fair maybe it's the players rather than their characters who get super enamoured but still. Kind of surprising to experience.

I realized just how much personality matters when my players get more attached n invested in my charismatic kindred (not talking about stats here but their 'vibe') and less so my awkward / grumpy kindred....! Anyone else get this? I had a pretty evil malkavian that ended up being a fan fave!

Since this post I decided to take google's online cybersecurity course for "background knowledge" and it's been super fun so far (except the protocols section, I don't wanna look at that again...). I liked the linux / sql section, reminds me of putting in cheat codes to pc games when I was a kid!

I'm seeing recruiters / hiring managers say that they got 100s of applications within the first 24-48hrs of a job posting. Some are looking through a +1000 applications. They have to resort to using AI to filter through them, which is also why people are using AI to mass apply? It's complete mayhem.

Removed my legal first name from here cuz I gotta complain about my job hunt for a second—OMG. I had 7 meetings with a company, only to find out that they were deciding if I'd make it into the 8 and 9th. In the end I got dropped. It feels like Squid Games out there right now in tech (design)...ohno.

Do you document sessions in separate notes or a singular note or...??

I'm veryyy intrigued by the plugins but feel a bit over my head, especially porting things over and trying to figure out my note / relationship structure to begin with! I'm excited to get to know the functions better once my documentation tightens up, the shortcuts, functions, all possibilities..! 😍

I don't really get the vault thing tbh, I'm gonna have to experiment a bit to see how the connections work. Maybe I just like that they called it a vault lol 🤭

Yeah it's kind of a lot of work right now and I'm feeling the moving pains, but I hope it's worth it in the end =S Especially since this is looking like a longer chronicle than I originally planned (and we're moving slower than I imagined in my head lol)

Oh wait... maybe I can just have one MAIN node in the center of it all and store all the sessions under different collapsible headings... <_< It's confusing cuz I'm porting things over mid-chronicle lol

Now I'm trying to decide where to put session plans and things like housekeeping and chronicle tenets and so on... should they go in a separate place? I think I still want to reference these nodes right... And as the character evolves, what to sort from sesh notes to the char page? Ermm... 🤔

I'm trying to figure out how to architect a structure that makes sense, and so far I made a bunch of notes for each character. Idk about the story part though, if I should start a new "vault" for session details, or if I should just have my notes in the same vault as my characters, or...???!?😳

I've just started trying it and REALLY like it. There's a learning curve but I can see the potential already in terms of the relationships, it just pulls all the mentions in one place really nicely! This was my old one on Whimsical and new one on Obsidian.

Has anyone used Obsidian for their TTRPG notes and planning?? My manual relationship map for this #VtM chronicle is getting outta hand but not sure about session planning on there too 👀
