Words I must write down before I forget Every night, it’s the same dream. The playground. The tree. The fountain. All in their rightful places. And then he sees him. Brunette curls that had minds of their own. Eyes of sage and gold. A smile so contagious that it was returned even in his slumber. They would play together for what felt like hours; swinging on the swings, trying to reach the sky; climbing up the trees, trying to be the first at the top; balancing on the fountain edge and laughing when someone falls in.
