How god destroyed my Xtianity is more like it. By age 12, I had read the bible cover-to-cover 3X. I knew more about it than my Baptist ministers did, & I knew it was mostly bullshyte. So, I looked elsewhere. After about 25 years, I settled on atheism. People leave Xtianity b/c of religious trauma.
This ignorant charlatan represented my hometown for years & did ZERO to help them out of poverty, provide healthcare or make their lives better. Rather, she paraded around blasting lies for YEARS in support of Trump. Do not give her credit now. She repped some of the poorest in GA, yet did ZILCH. 🖕

We’re interested in culture, which is practiced by groups, and less on individual subjects. Not that we’re uninterested in individual stories, but culture tends to focus on things GROUPS do who are individuals that live in close proximity to one another & have shared customs, values, language. 2/3

I’ve taught in higher ed for 20+ years. One thing I don’t get is the disdain for university (higher ed) now. Think of the name “university.” What does that infer?
