Mark Carney has effectively linked national development to resource extraction and building Canada’s military. A banker who knows the immense profit and wealth made by resource extraction and weapons manufacturing.

The 2025 budget poured billions of taxpayer dollars into war manufacturing and committed to fast tracking destructive projects and mines on Indigenous lands.

Canada’s mining industry is immensely tied to militarism. The foundation of Canada as we know it is colonization. Colonization is war backed with a military force used by the police and armed forces.
