Even though I don't do much drawing I still have a Huion tablet that I really like. The drivers and software on those tablets are really simple in comparison to wacom (idk the software had so many issues for me back then).
I would have to see what my wife has, hers has a screen! She loves that one
There was a pretty decent guide video that a youtuber I like named Shar that goes over the pros/cons of standard tablet vs one with a screen. From my understanding a huge part is your muscle memory if you're looking at or away from the screen with your drawing hand.
