The least shocking thing ever is learning DOGE used chatGPT to identify which grants were “DEI.” It is critical to understand that LLMs are an authoritarian technology meant to win the millennia-long war on critical thinking and art. They are a right wing wet dream.
Trump's statements are going to get more and more absurd as he loses his grip on power. He needs to identify the loyalists faster and faster.
Everyone is twelve theory undefeated
Literally wanna become a director for the sole purpose of reviving stop-motion in a new, big-budget dinosaur blockbuster.
Anyway, bottom line: you're either getting (1) one big video and then one little video by the end of June, or (2) one little video and then one big video by the end of July.
😂
The next episode of Saurian Cinema will thankfully not be another 70+ min behemoth. I'm hoping for a neat & tidy 20 minute explainer about one particular film, which warrants some very special attention.
I'd love to have it done by the end of May, but I'd *also* like to upload the next episode of Saurian Cinema in time for Jurassic June, so I might wind up tabling "Sexy Cinema" when it's halfway done, complete the next episode of Saurian Cinema, and then pivot back.
My next video is gonna be a big one. The working title is "Why Aren't Movies Sexy Anymore?" It will likely push 80-90 mins, depending on the scope (I'm trying to incorporate a "brief" history of sexy cinema which could easily run the length of an undergraduate thesis if I'm not careful).
I wanna see this mfer try to survive a week on SNAP

Imagine if the funny thing happened on the Ides of March.
One of the biggest threats to America is indeed religious fundamentalism but it’s white Christian fundamentalism. You don’t see the NYT demanding every Christian politician answer for the sins of their co-believers.
Found a really cute house so if anyone wants to buy a screenplay or set up a first look deal hit me up.
The Binding of Isaac. Even as a kid, I remember thinking "Why is God looking for people who would murder children at his behest? Shouldn't he want followers who REFUSE to murder children—even at his behest?"
If an official commits an impeachable offense and nobody acts to impeach, it is no longer an impeachable offense.
People who oppose impeachment as “pointless” because it seems unlikely to result in removal do not understand this very simple point and seem unwilling to even try to understand it.
The U.S. killed six more civilians in a boat strike in the Pacific Ocean yesterday.
More than 150 people have been slain in these extrajudicial killings since September 2025. @theintercept.com is tracking them all here:

we joke but we're going to end up learning hegsgeth and/or his staff are really doing this
She was only in one—The Cleaner. And that was, uhhhh... not good.
We don’t talk enough about the greatest wedding scene ever filmed 🎥
Woke up and figured out what was bothering me about the video! Deleted a line, recorded a new one to take its place, and now I'm exporting the final draft.
With that said I do NOT wanna think about this video anymore till tomorrow.
I just hit "export" on the rough draft of my next video and that old, familiar feeling of "this whole video sucks" slammed into me. It's exciting, though! That feeling always hits at SOME point in the editing-process, and lately it's been hitting later and later. Means I'm almost done!
Worth noting (apropos of nothing, etc) that America is the only nation in history to ever deploy nukes in combat, and, even more notably, they FAILED to end the war they were ostensibly used to end (Japan still didn't surrender until the US, bereft of nukes, FINALLY offered a conditional surrender).
