Same. I can charge from empty to 100% overnight off a regular wall socket, but in reality I charge for about 4 hours maybe 4 or 5 nights a week. Not everyone has off street parking so there's certainly a lot of investment that needs to happen with things like lamp post chargers etc
My other car is an XV. Non hybrid 2012. It's perfect for what I need a car for, but really wish I'd gone for a slightly newer hybrid version when I bought it. Feels like going back to the stone age compared with the effortless whizzing around in the Leaf.

I kept my petrol car for those kinds of trips. Calculated at the time the ROI, based on $2.40 a litre and charging at $0.25/kWh, will be 3 years, factoring in the doubling up on rego WOFs and insurance. I'm about half way there, but if the petrol price jumps to over $3 that brings it forward a bit.
Mine can do 100km on a charge and I've only ever had to charge away from home twice in 18 months of having the car with most journeys using about 30%. "Range anxiety" is an overblown anti EV propaganda talking point
I bought an EV for $3500 and there are cheaper options out there. A solid half of all EVs on the road in New Zealand are Nissan Leafs and the first generation are selling sub $5k now, many with enough range for the majority of people to live with.
