I found an image and a video of VERY early Breakwaters prototypes! A bit of a "how it started, how its going".

For me I found a lot of improvement by managing large and small tasks related to the feeling of successful completion. I had to mix small tasks with large so I didn't get bogged down in a "slog" of work. Sometimes that meant a small task from something unrelated.
"I'm going on an adventure" feel ๐
Sometimes I get distracted and make a tsunami in creative mode, its really fun watching interact with the island terrain and rocks.

The Serpent Titan is now roaming Breakwaters!
With it comes new missions and items. Look for the Serpent Titan under the largest storm cloud you can see on the horizon.
Islands now spawn Red Crystal Beacons on them that spawn mobs at night which aggro towards the player. ... There are also now some powerful consumables you can build from Red Crystal shards if you break the beacons. ๐
I recently added a bit of an easter egg in Breakwaters.
(If you collect the trophies for a Turtle Titan and place them close enough together, it will let you control a Turtle Titan for a short amount of time. You can roam around creating massive waves and shooting a death beam at things)

New fishing mini game, and a Typhoon Cannonball you can shoot at pirates!
With the new rainstorms, covered areas block water and keep fires lit. Rain collects and flows down hill to build up naturally.
If I make a realtime fluid sim for a game, I am going to use it! ;)

The rain adds water to the sim and flows down hill. Its really satisfying to watch on a calm day.
