I cannot learn to make those at home because I am not able to moderate my consumption of them. Even cold mediocre Brazilian cheese breads are my kryptonite.

These Brazilian Cheese Breads are giving β€œI may be small, but I run the whole snack table” energy.

Serve them warm. Tear them dramatically. Let the cheese pull do all the talking.

A bright green moss bryophyte growing as a loose patch on damp soil and decaying wood beside a woodland stream. The shoots rise upright in small clusters, each bearing rounded oval leaves that spread like tiny spoons around the stem. Individual leaves are only a few millimetres across and appear glossy with water droplets. Several darker stalks with developing capsules (sporophytes) are visible among the leaves, hinting at the β€œdotted” appearance that gives Dotted Thyme-moss (Rhizomnium punctatum) its common name. The surrounding scene includes other mosses, small woodland plants, and mossy wet leaf litter in a shaded Devon woodland.

Pastel still life, including a nice vase bought in a shop attached to an auction house, some ranunculus flowers, alstroemeria and an iris. The dried items on the right came from a bag of pot pourri. This was probably sold at a Cambridge Drawing Society exhibition.

Not great when the only people in the free world who believe and trust Vladimir Putin’s word on critical things despite all evidence to the contrary are currently running the government of the United States.

a payment processor that doesn't process legal, consentual payments isn't doing its job and doesn't deserve business

businesses must accept legal tender for payment

if they are unable to accept legal tender, because of a third party, it stands to reason that third party should be held accountable

Federal Reserve Board - Proposal Details The Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington DC.

The government is asking for public comments on whether banks should be able to deny you from buying legal goods at their own whim (i.e. how they're cracking down on art)

Tell them you don't want to be told how to spend your money

I suppose Markwayne gets a pass on this since he's not yet officially head of DHS - first scandal after Noem's departure. Still, *someone* needs to be held accountable and I suppose that would be the most senior official directing this.

A DHS spokesperson told WIRED on Monday, β€œAny allegation that DHS adopted a policy making Privacy Threshold Analyses exempt from the Freedom of Information Act is FALSE.”

Internal emails show otherwise.

On December 3, the DHS Privacy Office announced a "major change" that required all future PTAs to carry a disclaimer marking them exempt from public release. The disclaimer reads in full:

β€œThis is a draft document that is pre-decisional, deliberative, and is designated For Official Use Only. It is subject to the deliberative process privilege and attorney client privilege. It is not to be released, shared, or distributed outside of authorized channels without prior consultation and approval from the Department of Homeland Security Privacy Office. Unauthorized disclosure may result in administrative, civil, or criminal penalties.”

DHS's press office straight up lied about this. But they didn't know I had receipts.
