The other day I moved my ~2TB Final Cut Pro library to an external SSD, and now that I have some space for it, I’m moving my [the app formerly known as] iTunes music library onto my Mac’s internal drive for the first time in probably more than 20 years.

I suppose nobody is walking around a park all the time, so on average it’s going to get actual steadiness.

It makes me wonder what it must be like for people with high walking steadiness. Are you just out there walking down lumpy, swaying stairs without handrails in tall grass while carrying six brimming hot drinks, using a MacBook Pro as a tea tray, like it’s nothing?

Every so often my Apple Watch tells me I have low or very low walking steadiness. But I walk around a fair bit and don’t feel like I’m in imminent danger of falling — at least not on smooth ground. It doesn’t feel like a risk to get up.

I was just reading about the period known as Romantik in German and for about a page I wasn’t sure if it was the Romantic period or Ancient Rome (Rome antique.) It was the former, but in French those two terms are really close.
