Also Red Bull don’t have a choice as they already have a full team for next year.

I think it’s smart anyway.

Did I meet anyone from Bluesky nope because I’m an idiot. 😂 (Think @ebenhh.bsky.social and @billylezard.bsky.social might have been there too)

Herne Hill South London GP was amazing! Watching track cycling at the velodrome is probably the best experience you can get as a spectator.

Took the camera as usual and got some amazing pics. Instagram for them (or my website for all of them).

Was tough but here are my favourite 4…

The post becomes less funny when you realise their team is still:

MVDP
Philipsen
Groves
Del Grosso
Dillier
Rickaert

Can’t wait for them to dominate the classics and TDF with MVDP, Philipsen and Groves and 5 neo pros.

What about the Paris-Nice ones? I thought they were really exciting especially if it finishes on a climb.

If you aren’t operating in the grey area you will never be successful.

To clarify I meant lawyers rather than his Agency. As you say Agents are under UCI so they won’t risk anything either.

Yes they aren’t formal in UCI contract negotiations but they will be able to be a middle man without risking be banned from UCI etc.

Derek by definition will have not spoken to any other teams about a contract - 1) because that’s why you have representation 2) to protect himself from being sued for breaking his contract.

Derek’s representatives no doubt have and yes the contract will be ready at Ineos.

Went to a bike race for the first time in a while!

Was really good fun and also got some really good pics which is always a bonus.

Rapha to redesign Richard Carapaz's Olympic champion jersey after UCI rule oversight The EF Education-EasyPost rider's jersey lacked the necessary gold piping

Wasn't paying enough attention to know who had worked already or not. Yeah Tulett finally showing his potential is great and yeah he can be an all round domestique for sure.

I guess you don't mess around on Stage 1 in a technical finish and Matteo is stronger.

The olympic bands are enforced by the UCI - remember when EF got in trouble when Carapaz was the reigning gold medalist.

I'm gonna guess that Matteo jumped in due to DVB's mech.

Zingle only 2.5% is wild to me, Assist points are king especially if he can get some good results too.

Decent point haul + allowing additional GC candidate seems ideal to me.

Obviously don’t know the limitations of building feeds but could you make it where it’s only accounts go into the feed?

Probably the best way of keeping the feed clean if that makes sense.

I just want to make friends 😂

I think Visma will cruise this. Also I don’t trust the combo of Almeida and Ayuso. Something will go wrong with it.

Soler being an all rounder is sad, would have been a must pick if unclassed.

Having lost out on potential win by not committing to UAE riders at TDF, probably gone too far the other way.

That said I think Zingle will be a decent sprinter himself + assist points makes it him or Mads IMO.

Tulett looked amazing in spring and Campy could win TT + breakaways.

Jonas, Jorg, Ciccone, Bernal, Zingle, Tulett, Campy, Jungels, Landa.

My Velogames team for the Vuelta...

All in on Visma and Ineos...

Jonas will win easily, Jorg should be a podium - top 5 at worst candidate (and is way too cheap).

Ciccone, Bernal and Landa are wildcards but should be decent GC and stage results.

Visma breaks + assist points (hopefully)

Stage 4 is local to me so will 100% go. I’ll decide if I want to go to Wales or not probably on Friday night.

More importantly as I’m surprised @ebenhh.bsky.social hasn’t shouted about is Herne Hill racing next week on Thursday and Friday.
