Today, Attorney General Ford joined a multistate coalition to sue over President Trumpβs latest attempt to impose worldwide tariffs without congressional approval. The lawsuit seeks to block what the coalition argues are unlawful tariffs that raise costs for consumers and businesses.
On Wednesday, a top trade court ordered the Trump Administration to start refunding tariffs to U.S. businesses. The Supreme Court was clear: the President cannot unilaterally impose tariffs onto the American people without Congressional approval.
