Hey everyone, controversial question: do you prefer Qt or GTK?
I currently use something arch-based, rolling release. And I love it and really like it.
But rolling release comes with certain compromises, such as being willing to accept that something might break or that updates might pile up. In the end, I don't think it's a good idea for beginners.
Well, I suppose Manjaro is good for beginners, even if it's Arch-based, but I couldn't say for sure.
I was referring to pure Arch anyway.
Linux for beginners, simple: anything debian based or ubuntu based is very good for you, to start I mean. I'm not saying they're perfect, but it's not a good idea for your first distro to be Arch or NixOS if you don't know what you're getting into xD

I mean, when I think of Windows XP, this is one of the first things I remember. For a nerdy kid like me, Merlin was just too cool.
Tbh, if you're going to feel nostalgic for any old Windows mascot, Merlin was much cooler than Clippy.
