Just thinking out loud here, the tv set was vintage, is it possible the connection was something about handing the Grammy to young Benito? It seemed like a “if I could say something to my younger self what would I say” kind of moment. But, open to interpretation.

In my pre teens (tweens?) I was a huge Sesame Street fan, so much so that my mom took me to NYC to see the Jim Henson puppets in a theater - too young to remember where- but they were all hanging up backstage. It was amazing. SS also got me interested in animation. Puppets are magical beings.
