Last night, Allegheny County Council voted 11-3-1 to pass our ordinance limiting county employees from cooperating with ICE/CBP, and I was proud to be a co-sponsor and a YES vote. 🧵

this week! it used to look like on the left, and starting yesterday it looks like on the right. it's so small I can't even comfortably read it with my readers on (I read the news on my phone in the morning, not my computer)

for no apparent reason they have recently changed the formatting in the city cast pittsburgh daily emails, the text is now so small I can't really read them. total self own bc that will simply get cut from my nothing local news check-in ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it's also great for sidewalks! so many countries use paving stones instead of poured concrete on their sidewalks, and then when something disturbs the sidewalk it can be fixed super easily and for way less money than bringing out a cement truck

extremely pleased to report that my giant rosemary and sage shrubberies both appear to have survived the brutal pittsburgh winter. both will need a lot of pruning but there is healthy new growth around the base of the rosemary and I'm finding new soft leaves distributed throughout the sage 🥰 🌱
