It's the opposite actually! The OC community I've interacted with are extremely welcoming and had been doing their best to be inclusive, the purpose of this post is not to shift blame on any party here.
I know I had repeated 'I hate this!!!' three times from that last post but instead of some white guy in fur waving a confederate flag, you have to imagine an anime bunny girl/boy/utada hikaru on the floor cries out loud 'iyadaaaaa' in high octave
Nonetheless, I hope you can still pick up Insect Course (Viet title: Cรดn Trรนng Thแปฑc)! It's a backstory of my goretober character and the spoiler and not so spoiler that he gets centipede'd. The comic will be uploaded in full on my website in April.

In these spaces I always feel like the fictional character's story always has to be ongoing, infinitely. For me, stories shouldn't be infinite, only the readers can make it so.
Unfortunately I just don't know how to communicate this sentiment of 'i hate talking about my OCs' whenever I turn down OC-themed projects, I find it impossible for me to integrate in community that focuses on OCs roleplaying.
Most of the time if I feel the need to yap about them it goes straight into brainstorm/visdev folder. I can then come back to unfinished ideas later once I receive inspiration from random books, movies, games, or even from random daydreaming.

I think, despite having a more of a larger original works portfolio now and that I'm confident about my own works, I still hate talking about my OCs, and/or that I simply have given up pretending to like talking about OCs.

The print version of Insect Course will be sold in Color Fiesta (HCMC) on 4-5 April. Free, digital version will be uploaded on our website, Fanbox and Ko-fi page. Available in both English and Vietnamese (EN to VN translation by Thinh Lu).
