Iβve gone this long without target, I can continue.
Who got paid off?
No.
We gotta make study skills and note taking classes mandatoryβ¦there are some things high schoolers need before they get to HS
One period left, and we just got a message for students to pick up permission slips, but still no communication to staff chaperones. π
Has anyone said where we're going? Or what kids we'll be chaperoning? NOPE
At last week's PD, I, along with other resource teachers who aren't proctoring were told in passing that we're supposed to chaperone the trips. Has any other information been shared, or has the person coordinating reached out? NOPE
So tomorrow, some students have testing (cause it never f*ckin ends π) and others have service learning field trips...
Everyday they continue to play in our faces.
Check on your people.
Itβs a lot going on and people are in need of support and fellowship.

I love the sound of a band/orchestra tuning instruments before a performance. It builds an extra level of anticipation for me as an audience member.
Oh absolutely. The system is definitely not set up to help new teachers succeed and a lot of the programs are so outdated. Itβs why I struggle with leaving cause I know there arenβt a lot of us left.
The kids. Every time I think about saying something about a kid, I try to think if theyβre actually at fault and usually itβs been cause of the adults. Usually theyβre reacting to something the adult did or it ainβt got nothing to do with me. Also a lot of teachers could use a therapy session π₯΄
I just ordered Flonase case I felt that pollen yesterday π©
And most times itβs ainβt their fault which I why I blame the adults for most things at this point.
The number of daily interruptions some of us teachers have to deal with should be studied.
My final formal observation is complete!! And of course there was an incident which resulted in a code yellow (classroom lockdown) π₯΄

a tan long-haired dachshund with incredibly floofy ears sits with his front paws on a window sill and his nose pressed up against the window. he's accompanied by his stuffed squirrel friend. their reflections stares back at them. Stevie the dachshund does not see the irony in watching for squirrels with his squirrel friend. he's too busy being locked in on the happenings outside his window.
This is Stevie. He's on squirrel watch. His stuffed friend is also a squirrel, but he's one of the good ones. 14/10 (IG: longdogstevie)
Wilt thou conceal this dark conspiracy?
π© you really gotta find joy in the smallest ways cause shit is heavy!
I just had 4/16 present in my last class...and yet, we get blamed when kids are failing.
