Also to actually directly answer the question after all this: I like it when the fat bunny is awful and/or gets even fatter but also the world and character interactions for that lot are just amazing and I'm always delighted to see more. I just want you to feel good about you do first and foremost.

Our art is beyond our control the moment it is shared, and for every narrow minded idiot you alienate who thinks that the only 'right' way to be an artist is the single pre-approved method they used there's a glorious, silly, wholesome weirdo you'll find who you would never have otherwise met.

I love the experimental stuff. Also I have strong feelings about not letting one's work be influenced too much by 'what people want' - the collective is unpleasable in any meaningful fashion.

When it gets that way all you can do is be careful not to do or say anything with long-term consequences and wait it out as best as possible. Maybe try to do small, good things with friends if you can coax yourself into it but that's a stretch some days. I hope it gets easier for you over time.

I've had some experience feeling like that. I still have bad days where I relapse in fact, so I don't know about there being any kind of 'magic fix' to it really. All I can say is sometimes you shouldn't trust your own internal voice when things are bad. Our brains chemistry lies to us.
