That seems like a lot of integrity to turn down those offers. I imagine this is a tough decision for those farmers and you wouldn't feel great whichever way you decide.

I cannot abide this insistence that ICE agents' safety supersedes public safety. The safety of the community should come before the safety of any police force. They choose these jobs willingly with full knowledge of any inherent risk.

Fun fact, most US textbook publishers tailor their books to Texas standards because Texas is a large market. So, even a liberal state may have biased or truncated materials based on Texas standards.

I hear ya and I think there is a distinction between teachers and the education system as a whole. Teachers might be great but policies and curriculum choices are made by administrators. Also, text book choice matters and that's not up to teachers either.
