You'll have to forgive my skepticism that Julie somehow is also keeping tabs on teenage violence in Bangkok, when we all know her work has largely been focused on JI in Indonesia and Philippines.

Might I also add that AKSHULLY many people had forgotten about Bangkok Siam Paragon Mall attack and I brought it up in my analysis. I've been keeping it on the backburner because I knew something similar was going to happen again.

After the Ulu Tiram attack last year, Julie offered me co-authorship to write a Brief together for Soufan Group. Obviously to get me to share my analysis with her. Predictably, she did a 180 degrees after that and said no, sorry, it's not working out.

Might I remind all of you that Dr Julie Chernov Hwang's bread and butter has always been the orientalist jihadism in the region. The suddent swing to so-called far right and memetic violence in Southeast Asia overnight speaks volume. The least you could do is give a line of attribution. Disgraceful.
She also claimed that "it was obvious to anyone who is in our field". Actually, no Julie, it wasn't. Before SMAN Jakarta attack, many people said I was delusional for linking Siam Paragon with BU School, or even suggesting Columbine Effect in the first place.
She claimed that she had spoken directly with the Bangkok police herself, but did not clarify if this was before or after reading my work. This is easily verifiable: do you think I don't have police contacts in the region myself, Julie?
Dr Julie Chernov Hwang didn't respond to me on Bsky, but only responded to my post on LinkedIn. She claimed that my work had nothing to do with, quite forgetting she had reposted my exact article that discussed the Paragon Siam attack before (clear evidence of consumption).
The Rafah crossing, where sick and wounded Gazans congregated to be evacuated, was bombed relentlessly. The intention to kill the already wounded is clear. The criminality is palpable. The complicity of the US-European rulers is mindnumbing.
