It’s an extreme example, but lots of things (even schools!) assume your kids have an iPhone/android. Travel app, MS teams, loyalty cards. Also when I had a Nokia brick a decade ago I also ,carried an iPod, a fairly full wallet and a diary with me! Occasionally a canon s70 “pocket” camera.
