I've been giving Zen a try⦠some rough edges but so far it has been good.
the only thing I don't want to do is use my condition as a crutch. I fail, I accept it. I let people down and try my best to mend it.
but, at the end of day, the sum of all this mess is a human being worth the same as a neurotypical.
it's one day at the time. I've learned to accept that some days I'll immerse myself into whatever the hyperfocus pulls me into, and others I'll burn.

Screenshot of an old MSN chat toolbar, with the mouse pointer over the "nudge" icon, with a tooltip that says "Send a nudge". This feature made the other person's chat window shake, and it was considered annoying by most.
If they could shake the entire browser window they would, old school MSN style

screenshot of the notifications centre sidebar on macos, showing the "clear" button that opens a dropdown with a single "all notifications" option that must be clicked to perform the action of clearing notifications
every day i'm annoyed by this notification centre flow. if i'm clicking "clear", i always 100% no doubt want to _clear all notifications_, otherwise i would clear one by one. why do i have to click "all notifications" again? π
that feels right up their alley yeah
prime target on apple tv
the premise is bonkers but first two eps were okay. not at the same level as other shows there but miles ahead anything on netflix
they adapted the book for the show really well in my opinion
the show hooked me into the books! still reading the first one but can highly recommend!

it's weird, but interesting for refactoring sessions for example.
the pace is slower than s1, but it picks up at the end. imho s1 was better, but s2 is not bad.
blocking at org level docs.github.com/en/communiti...
you can block them from your repos I believe. or do you mean ban across all github?
do you have a minute to hear about our lord and saviour dagger.io
that feels good right? I need to get serious about my German, been using English as a crutch for too long and my kid is starting to make fun of me π
That is awesome haha! My silly bit with my kid is the "good night ding ding ding" from Monty Phyton π
we need to fund this endeavor
there's this concept of "implied contract" in legal domain. it's basically the same thing, we collectively agree `1.x` comes with a pinky promise that stuff won't break as much.
I call that the "executive function roulette". Will I be a couch potato or the next astrophysics Nobel nominee today? Who knows!
