It has been a very long time since something has impacted me so profoundly. I haven’t seen a piece of media that speaks on loneliness, isolation, nihilism, existentialism and the human experience in such a raw way. Definitely my favorite manga now
I think what makes Punpun so good is that the cruelty of the series is surprisingly grounded in reality. Almost nobody can relate to all of Punpun’s character but I think most people would relate to some aspect of him

I binged Goodnight Punpun over the last few days, it was one of the most gripping stories I have ever read. It is easily the most realistic depictions I have seen of the harsh realities of every day life and existential dread. Aiko is one of the most tragic characters in fiction...10/10
