I don't know if it's the same for all you other writers in the northern hemisphere, but February always seems to be my best writing month. 26k words done now. Can't wait to get the first draft completed.

Hit 18k words on my next short novel. The structure of the chapters is quite specific so having them all mapped out in advance to quite a level of detail has massively helped put all the puzzle pieces of the overall mystery together. I love this part of the writing process.
