i gasped out loud when i saw this at the vintage store – i had never actually seen it in person! i loved recreating the typography & recipes from 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓝𝓮𝔀 𝓙𝓸𝔂𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓙𝓮𝓵𝓵-𝓞 in Tasty. i'm so giddy i now have a copy of my own that i found by pure chance

The plan was a success, and Adams's company was saved! Soon, people everywhere were making their own red velvet cakes." The comic cuts away from the storybook style back to our narrator, the food sprite Peri. "And that's the origin of the red velvet we know and love today!"

i was poring over TASTY last night like "damn...this book is so good??? all the art is exactly to my taste??????" truly the digital pages i post here do not capture how beautifully this book printed

in tasty, the food sprites explore the history of cheese, pickles, pizza, soda, gelatin, and what i like to call "easy food" ! i had so much fun drawing cheese plates for this book lol
