The phrase I was trying to dig out of my brain when I wrote this post, was "Liminal event" - a threshold between realities.

Yes indeed, we always hope for a non-crappy day and great expectations for goats usually involves food. Now that I'm thinking about it, that's the hope of all sentient beings: food and a non crappy day. Anyone who has gone days without food knows. I don't need a palace, only peace and satiety.

Yes, X-T5 is great and weather sealed. Not sure about the kit lens but just avoid downpours. 😃

I haven't used the X-T50 but it seems like a good choice other than the lack of weather sealing. Fun film simulations and controls, plus IBIS. Just be careful with inclement weather.

Oh and I could be wrong about the weather sealing.
