I post a happy face in such dire times. I need that morning reminder outside to erase the sadness inside. Hate can cause wrinkles and lines, accelerating the aging process. Hate can melt the brain, harden the heart, wither the soul. ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฉตโ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

Does she stay as a Senator or an economic Cabinet Secretary under the 2028 Democratic president?

Sort of like the national debt, we can research and get the actual number for a second or two before it changes. Does it matter? Let's all agree we have a lot of it and them and hope for a Scrooge-like redemption for both those who vote on the debt and those who vote like racists.๐Ÿค”

Most Americans are too busy for social media, too normal for politics, too rational to tweet. They work, raise kids, coach Little League โ€” and never post a word about any of it.
This isn't a small minority. It's a monstrous, if silent, majority.

Gratitude for the first amendment. Saying and reading what we want, in spite of wacko women trying to ban books they find inappropriate. There is always quiet reading at schools, so give your child a banned book to read for then. Sometimes gratitude is a fight.๐Ÿ˜

A picture of Jeff Strasburg, a man with a grey beard and sandy brown hair wearing glasses and a black t-shirt with a silver fleur de lis. He's sitting on a charcoal grey recliner. There are green and off-white curtains hanging behind him, and a light grey wall to his right.

Grateful that the worst of last night's storm missed us - seeing reports of major damage to other people's homes. What are you grateful for today? #gratitude

An abandoned stream. 18th/19th Century farms used water engineering extensively, and this was an answer to having a wall between two estates - run the stream on eaither side of the wall. I now own both sides of the wall, but this stream was abandoned before the 20th Century. In act, this is not even the only abandoned route for this stream. At one time it was diverted around the hill to the right about 50m from the boundary. No idea why they did that, yet.

More trivia from the manor.
This was, I thought, a footway, road of some sort.
Looking at the 19th C maps, it's actually a stream. It ran in parallel with another one over the wall to the left on the border between two estates. It's now a cool-looking enclosed footpath along the river.
